The common types of Algerian visas include business, work, and tourism. China and Arab countries have signed an agreement on mutual visa exemption for diplomatic and official passport holders, which came into effect in March 2019. Before coming to Afghanistan, it is necessary to confirm that the visa held is valid and that the visa type matches the actual destination.
Traveling to some provinces in Ananbu can be organized by travel agencies designated by the Afghan government to apply for landing visas. If you apply for a landing visa to come to Ananbu, please strictly comply with the relevant regulations of the Afghan government and travel agencies. Any violations such as not meeting the landing visa requirements will result in a ban on entry.
The required documents for obtaining a visa vary depending on the type of visa. For more information, please consult the Visa Office of the Embassy of Algeria in China (www.algeriaassemblychina. net).
When entering or leaving the country, a registration card must be filled out, and the customs will conduct spot checks on passengers' luggage.
1. Entry
Passengers are only allowed to bring personal belongings that match their identity into the country, and are not allowed to bring items used for commercial purposes.
Bringing animals and plants into the country requires actively declaring the official animal and plant quarantine certificate of the exporting country or region, and accepting on-site quarantine and customs inspection by the port of entry quarantine authority. Carrying the following common items requires prior permission from relevant departments in Afghanistan: cultural materials carriers such as books, audio-visual materials, and videotapes; Sensitive equipment such as wireless radios, intercoms, cameras, etc; Medical supplies such as drugs and medical devices.
Cigarettes, alcohol and perfume can be carried, but they should not exceed 200 cigarettes (or 100 cigars, or 50 cigars, or a box of tobacco not exceeding 250 grams), 2 liters of wine or 1 liter of spirits, 50 ml of perfume or 250 ml of eau de toilette.
Customs is conducting strict inspections on passenger food and strictly prohibiting the import of pork products. It is also highly sensitive to other types of meat products and recommends not bringing any meat products to Afghanistan. The quantity of food carried should be within the scope of personal use. If the customs determines that the quantity of food exceeds the scope of personal use and may be used for commercial purposes, they may take measures such as confiscation of the relevant items.
Carrying over 5000 euros or other equivalent foreign currencies into the country requires declaration to the Afghan customs. Passengers holding an Algerian residence permit can bring a maximum of 10000 Algerian dinars into the country. When bringing personal gold and silver products into the country, each male should not exceed 30 grams, and each female should not exceed 150 grams.
2. Exit the country
Customs allows passengers to carry reasonable and appropriate personal items out of the country, but prohibits the carrying of rare species such as red coral and their products. They also have strict control over the carrying of gold and silver products, as well as milk powder and other materials that enjoy national subsidies. It is strictly prohibited to carry scissors, knives, tape, measuring tape, terminal blocks, glass cups, glass bottled items (such as coffee, honey, etc.) or bundling ropes in hand luggage. There are two checkpoints at the entrance of the airport hall and the border checkpoint to conduct security checks on checked in and carry on luggage.
Passengers holding a residence permit in Afghanistan: those who exit the country with a foreign currency not exceeding 7500 euros or its equivalent should submit a bank exchange certificate; Holding more than 7500 euros or other equivalent foreign currencies for export requires submission of a permit issued by an Algerian bank; A maximum of 10000 Algerian dinars can be carried abroad. Passengers who do not hold a residence permit in Afghanistan are allowed to carry a maximum of 5000 euros or other equivalent foreign currencies out of the country, and must keep records of their foreign exchange declarations and bank exchange records during their stay in Afghanistan for future reference.
When leaving the country, an exit card must be filled out and submitted to the border inspection personnel for verification along with the passport and ticket.
The interpretation of the above regulations belongs to the official of A, and detailed information can be found on the website of A Customs https://douane.gov.dz/ Search.
(1) Visa
Algerian visas are generally valid for three months, with a maximum stay of one month from the date of entry. Non Arab citizens should leave the country before the expiration of their visa (see "Expire le" on the top left corner of the visa page), and their stay in Afghanistan cannot exceed the maximum stay period specified on the visa page (see "Dur é e du s é jour" on the top left corner of the visa page). If necessary, one should apply for a visa extension at least 10 days in advance to the immigration office of the local provincial government, with a maximum extension of 90 days. Holders of a residence permit cannot stay in Afghanistan beyond the validity period of the permit.
If illegal residence occurs due to visa or residence permit expiration and is obstructed during exit, cooperation with the Afghan police and compliance with relevant judicial procedures are required. According to past circumstances, illegal residents are prohibited from returning to Afghanistan within 5 years after being sentenced to leave the country for a limited period of time. To avoid being obstructed when entering Afghanistan, please make sure to confirm whether your visa or residence permit has expired in Afghanistan.
During your stay in Afghanistan, if your passport is lost, stolen, or damaged, you should report it to the local police and submit a passport replacement application on the "Chinese Consul" app. After the application is approved, you can go to the embassy offline according to the scheduled time to apply for the passport. According to the request of the Afghan side, after reissuing a new passport, a police report receipt or proof of loss must be presented before leaving the country.
(2) Residence permit
According to the requirements of relevant departments in Algeria, applying for a residence permit in Algeria requires submitting a registration certificate issued by the embassy for the applicant. After my citizen arrives in Afghanistan, if I need to apply for a residence permit, I should go to the embassy as soon as possible to obtain the above proof.
Business personnel who need to reside in Afghanistan for a long time must first complete the company registration procedures and obtain a business license before applying for a residence permit upon entry; Labor workers need to apply for a labor permit through the company before applying for a residence permit.
(3) Special Reminder on Working in Afghanistan
1) When working abroad, it is necessary to choose a qualified intermediary company and not believe in false advertising or "acquaintances" introductions such as "high salaries" and "guaranteed wages" from illegal intermediary companies. Before going abroad for work, it is necessary to thoroughly understand and verify the actual situation of the employer's salary, working environment, living conditions, etc.
2) Before going abroad, it is necessary to sign a formal labor contract and carefully read the terms of the contract before signing.
3) The labor contract must be signed in advance in China, and do not believe the company's lie of "signing after arriving in Algeria".
4) Migrant workers coming to Afghanistan must hold a Traail visa and obtain work and residence permits in accordance with the law. Individuals holding business (Affales), tourism (Tourisme) and other visas are not allowed to engage in labor work in Afghanistan. Do not believe the lie that "entering with a business visa (Affires) and then changing to work status". Holding a non work visa while working in Afghanistan makes it impossible to obtain a legal residence permit. Staying in Afghanistan beyond the validity period of the visa or the duration of the stay is considered illegal, violating local laws and facing a series of problems such as inability to leave the country normally.
5) Once a labor dispute occurs overseas, it is essential to seek resolution through legal channels and avoid taking extreme actions. It is suggested to solve the problem through negotiation first. If the negotiation fails, you can complain to the commerce, public security, industrial and commercial administration and other departments of the people's government of the place where the relevant enterprise is registered in China or where the responsible person's registered residence is located, as well as the Chamber of Commerce for Foreign Labor Cooperation, and safeguard their rights according to law. The overseas embassy or consulate has no law enforcement authority and will promote mutual consultation and resolution of disputes depending on the situation.
2. Nationality
According to Algerian nationality law, any parent who is an Algerian citizen has Algerian nationality. To apply for Afghan citizenship, one of the following two conditions must be met:
(1) Having been legally married to an Afghan citizen for at least 3 years, residing in Afghanistan for at least 2 years, having a fixed job and income, and having good morals, etc;
(2) Adults who have resided legally in Afghanistan for at least 7 years, have a fixed job and income, are physically and mentally healthy, have good morals, and have integrated into the local society.
The Minister of Justice of Afghanistan is responsible for approving citizenship applications from foreign citizens. According to the Nationality Law of Afghanistan, the Minister of Justice has the right to refuse citizenship applications under any circumstances.
Algeria currently has 6 orange (high-risk) areas, while the rest of the areas are yellow (medium risk). Specifically, as follows:
1、 Orange region: Gerdaya, Bumides, Tiziuzu, Batna, Bejaia, Ilizi provinces. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reminds Chinese citizens to travel cautiously to the above-mentioned areas in Algeria in the near future. Local personnel and institutions have closely monitored the development of the situation, maintained high vigilance, strengthened security precautions and emergency preparations, and ensured personal and property safety. In case of emergency, please report to the police in a timely manner and contact the Chinese embassy or consulate in the local area.
2、 Yellow region: Other regions. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reminds personnel in other regions of Algeria to strengthen prevention and pay attention to safety. In case of emergency, please report to the police in a timely manner and contact the Chinese embassy or consulate in the local area.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and overseas embassies and consulates will continue to closely monitor changes in the overseas security situation, dynamically adjust relevant risk assessments, and release and update corresponding security reminders in real time on platforms such as the China Consular Service Network. Please continue to pay attention.
Since the 1990s, the Algerian government has taken a series of measures to combat terrorist forces within its borders. The majority of terrorists have defected to the government, with a few hiding in mountainous and southern desert areas.
In recent years, the overall security situation in Afghanistan has tended to stabilize, but incidents of theft and robbery still occur from time to time. Personnel should remain vigilant when going out, try to travel in groups, avoid going to remote areas, and avoid carrying large amounts of cash or other valuable property. In case of emergency, they should immediately seek assistance from nearby police or military police.
Parts of Algeria are prone to flooding during the rainy season (November to March each year), so it is important to pay attention to weather forecasts before going out.
A is a country prone to earthquakes, with several minor earthquakes occurring in recent years. It is recommended that Chinese citizens living in Afghanistan acquire certain knowledge of earthquake prevention to prevent accidents before they occur.
The overall food hygiene situation in Algeria is good, with occasional outbreaks of cholera, so attention should still be paid to food hygiene and safety.

The main mode of land transportation in Africa is by road, making it one of the countries with the highest density of roads. The total length of highways is about 107000 kilometers, including 1566 kilometers of expressways, 29000 kilometers of national highways, 24000 kilometers of provincial highways, and 54000 kilometers of village level highways.
The total length of the A Railway is 4773 kilometers, of which 386 kilometers are electrified lines, mainly concentrated in the northern region. A restricts the import of second-hand cars that have been purchased for more than three years and enforces the vehicle insurance system. Vehicles are driving on the right, pedestrians have priority.
After obtaining notarization and dual authentication from the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of Afghanistan in China, Chinese driver's licenses can be exchanged for local driver's licenses in Afghanistan. Due to poor driving habits of local drivers, the accident rate in Afghanistan is relatively high. When driving in Afghanistan, one should follow local traffic rules and pay attention to driving safety. Due to counter-terrorism and public security needs, security forces have set up checkpoints on the streets and highways of Acheng City. When encountering checkpoints, please proceed slowly and cooperate with security personnel in law enforcement.

1. Capital Algiers
Located in the coastal area of northern Afghanistan, it is divided into two cities: old and new. The old city, centered around the ancient city of Kasba, is highly Islamic, with stone houses built along slopes, narrow and winding streets, and dense traditional vendors and markets. It was listed as a "World Cultural Heritage" by UNESCO in December 1992; The new city stretches along the seaside, developing upwards along the mountain slope, with streets parallel to the coast, spacious and tidy, featuring many European style buildings and central parks.
