Customs epidemic prevention and control

As of June 7, 2021, 3022 people have been infected with COVID-19. The vaccination of COVID-19 has been launched in the middle of January 2021, mainly using the vaccine jointly developed by Pfizer and BioNTech and the vaccine of Modena, giving priority to the elderly, basic patients and medical workers. As of May 28th, a total of 21250 doses of vaccines have been administered, and 8712 people have been fully vaccinated.

In order to prevent the cross-border spread of COVID-19, the border control of Switzerland and Austria is adjusted according to the epidemic situation. At present, there is no special restriction on the movement of border personnel. The entry line does not need to show the negative test certificate of COVID-19 and the vaccination certificate, nor do it need to be isolated.

Residency and Naturalization

Chinese citizens who come to Liechtenstein for tourism and stay for no more than 90 days do not need to apply for residency. If the stay exceeds 90 days or if you come to Liechtenstein for work (regardless of the length of time), you must apply for residence.

Liechtenstein Aliens and Passports Bureau is responsible for issuing, extending and revoking aliens' residence certificates. For specific information, please refer to the website of the bureau: www.apa.llv.li 。

Joining Liechtenstein citizenship is divided into normal naturalization and simplified naturalization. Under normal circumstances, foreign applicants must have resided in Liechtenstein for at least 10 years, be familiar with the local customs and traditions, respect the laws and regulations of Liechtenstein, and not pose a threat to internal and external security. They must obtain government approval before being granted citizenship. The simplified naturalization process is mainly aimed at foreign spouses or children of Liechtenstein citizens.
