【 Overview 】 Located in the central Pacific region, it belongs to the Caroline Islands and extends 2500 kilometers from east to west. The coastline is 6112 kilometers long. The islands are of volcanic and coral reef types, with many mountains. Composed of 607 islands of various sizes, the four main islands are Pohnpei, Chuuk, Yap, and Kosrae. It belongs to a tropical oceanic climate. The dry season is from December to March of the following year, and the rainy season is from April to November. The average annual temperature is 27 ℃, and the annual precipitation is about 2000 millimeters. Among them, Pohnpei has an annual precipitation of over 3000 millimeters, making it one of the places with the highest precipitation in the world.

People lived there 4000 years ago. Discovered by Western navigators in the 16th century. In the mid-19th century, Britain, the United States, and Germany successively established trading points here. In 1885, it was occupied by Spain and transferred to Germany in 1899. After World War I (1914-1945), it was occupied by Japan, and after World War II, it was occupied by the United States. In 1947, the United Nations placed the islands under trusteeship with the United States, and later formed four political entities in the Pacific Islands Trust Territory along with the Marshall Islands, Northern Mariana Islands, and Palau. The parliament was established in January 1965 and has since been continuously demanding autonomy. In 1969, Mi began negotiations with the United States regarding future political status. On May 10, 1979, the Federated States of Micronesia was established through a constitution. Wesley Simina: President. Born on September 10, 1961 in Chukotka Oblast. He studied at Jackson State University, American International University, and the University of Hawaii in the United States, and obtained a Juris Doctor degree in 1988. He has been engaged in legal work for a long time. In 2005, he was elected as the Governor of Chuuk State. In 2011, he was first elected as a four-year member of the Secret Congress. In 2015, he was elected as the Speaker, and was subsequently re elected as Speaker three times in 2017, 2019, and 2021. Elected as the 10th President of the Federated States of Micronesia in May 2023.

The vast majority of people's economic life is based on villages. 【 Resources 】 Mishai is a world-renowned tuna producing area, with an annual catch of approximately 157000 tons within its exclusive economic zone. Crabs, shellfish, lobsters, freshwater eels, shrimp and other resources are yet to be developed.

Industry is backward with only a few processing industries, such as fish product processing plants, soap factories, coconut oil processing plants, and garment processing plants. Part of the construction and machinery repair industries are operated by foreigners.

Agriculture is backward and lacks grain cultivation. Coconut, banana, breadfruit, papaya, cassava and other tropical fruit trees can be seen everywhere. Produce high-quality black pepper and export it abroad.

The tourism industry has abundant tourism resources, not only with beautiful tropical scenery, but also with unique ethnic traditional culture and customs preserved. There are also historical sites such as the "Namadu" ancient castle, the "Stone Coin Bank", and the Pacific War battlefield ruins. The transportation between islands mainly includes air and sea freight. Domestic airports are available for Boeing 737 aircraft to take off and land. Road transportation is relatively backward. No railways.

Highway: The national highway is approximately 240 kilometers long.

Water transportation: The federal government has three ships of 800 tons or more that regularly travel between states. Each state government has a total of 5 passenger and cargo ships of around 600 tons. The Chinese government provided a total of three passenger and cargo ships to Michuk and Yap provinces in October 2004, February 2007, and July 2022, respectively. In January 2023, President Panuelo of the United States went to the United States to discuss the renewal of the Compact of Free Association between the two countries. In May 2023, the United States will renew the Compact of Free Association, and in March 2024, the United States will approve the treaty renewal, continuing to provide economic assistance to the United States for 20 years. The relationship with Australia was established in July 1987. Australia was one of the first countries to send a permanent ambassador to the Philippines and is one of the main aid countries to the country. In June 2018, Australian Foreign Minister Bi Xiaopu visited the United States. In December 2022, Australian Foreign Minister Huang Yingxian led a cross party delegation to visit the Philippines.
