Visa Entry

China has no diplomatic relations with Palau. Palau implements a visa on arrival system. Foreigners who need to hold passports with a validity of more than 6 months and show their departure tickets can enter the country and stay for 30 days. If they need to extend their stay after entry, they need to apply to the Immigration Bureau at least 7 days in advance for an extension, which can be extended for up to two times, 30 days each time, and a handling fee of 50 dollars each time. An environmental protection fee of $100 (included in the airfare) is required when purchasing a flight ticket to Pakistan. Customs epidemic prevention and control

Each adult passenger is allowed to carry a maximum of one bottle of alcohol and one pack of opened cigarettes (19 cigarettes) tax-free. Palau has three airports in total. Palau International Airport has many international routes, with regular direct flights between the Philippines, Australia, Japan, South Korea, and Guam in the United States. There are currently charter flights directly to Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan. Belau Air, the state-owned airline of Palau, operates regular airline services between domestic islands. You can drive or take a taxi to and from the airport.

The country is divided into 16 states, each of which establishes its own constitution and currently retains the traditional leadership system left over from history. Koror is the largest city in Palau, with an area of only about 8 square kilometers and a population of over 10000. After Palau gained independence, it was selected as the capital and administrative center. In October 2006, the capital was relocated to Melekeok.
