Visa Entry

China and Pakistan have not yet established diplomatic relations, and Chinese citizens traveling to Paraguay can apply for entry visas at the Paraguayan embassy or consulate in other countries.

Visa application requirements:

1. Passport (valid for at least 6 months)

2. Visa Application Form

3 1 passport photo with 3x4 white background

4. Round trip airfare to Paraguay

5. Accommodation reservation (if staying in a private residence, an invitation letter can be provided)

6. Copy of bank statement or valid credit card

7. Minors applying for visas require both parents to sign the visa application form and provide a birth certificate. If a minor travels alone or accompanied by one or a third parent, copies of both parents' identification documents and a consent letter signed by both parents must also be submitted.

Customs epidemic prevention and control

If the value of the items carried exceeds $10000 or its equivalent in other currencies, please declare. Before entering the country, the customs declaration form should be filled out, and the type and value of personal luggage should be truthfully stated on the declaration form. After completing the entry procedures and retrieving the luggage, the luggage ticket and customs declaration form must be handed over to the airport customs officer, who can only leave after receiving the declaration form and verifying the luggage. Paraguay Customs adopts a sampling inspection method for passengers' luggage. Residency and Naturalization

Foreign citizens can apply for temporary residence or general permanent residence in Pakistan depending on the situation. The required documents for applying for residence are as follows:

1. Applicant's ID card, passport, or valid proof of identity from their country of origin;

2. Birth certificate and marriage certificate (if any);

3. Applicants aged 14 and above are required to provide a (no) criminal record certificate from their country of origin or their country of permanent residence where they have resided for at least 5 years;

4. Applicants aged 14 and above are required to provide a certificate of no criminal record issued by the Paraguay Police Headquarters Consultation Office;

5. Health certificate issued by the health authority;

6. Residence certificate issued by the Paraguay jurisdictional police station;

7. Entry certificate issued by the immigration bureau;

8. A valid entry visa certified by the Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs;

9. Employment certificate indicating salary and employer's business registration certificate, or corresponding technical vocational license and graduation certificate; Underage applicants are required to provide proof of support;

10. Two color passport photos (2.5cm x 2.5cm).

（2） General permanent residency

The procedures for applying for general permanent residency are basically the same as applying for temporary residency, and additional information is required:

1. A bank deposit certificate equivalent to $5000, or a professional degree certificate with a university degree or above and employment (accompanied by the employer's business registration certificate); Or land ownership certificate;

2. A declaration to a notary public declaring compliance with the law.
